Photo policy
Y Care International believes in the need to promote justice, fairness, respect and solidarity in the world, and it seeks to adhere to these principles in the way it uses images in its communications. Images are chosen with the desire to uphold the dignity of the people with whom we and our partners work, as well as improving public understanding of the reality of the situations they face. Wherever possible, people depicted have given permission for their images and stories to be used. A copy of our full photo policy is available upon request.

Y Care International Photo Request Form
Once the form has been received by Y Care International, and if permission has been granted, we will send a high resolution image by e-mail or on CD. Please allow at least three weeks for requests to be dealt with. For commercial use a donation of £50 per image is requested.
Y Care International images should be used for the purpose stated only, should not be altered and should not be stored in any way after use. Y Care International images should not be shared with other charities or NGOs, or used in ways that undermine the aims of Y Care International. If you use an Y Care International image, we would appreciate it if you could send a copy of the publication or weblink to Y Care International.
