Fundraising Director

Job title: Fundraising Director

Location: London

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Circa £54,000 dependent on experience

Job Purpose: Maximise YCI income and provide entrepreneurial, strategic and energetic leadership and management for income generation and investment that supports YCI’s employment and enterprise work with young people. You will mobilise the financial resources needed to deliver a new global platform that seeks to create 1 million new opportunities for decent work by 2030. You are likely to be a corporate and/or high net worth fundraiser, with demonstrable success in raising money, contacts and previous relevant experience.

Accountable to: Chief Executive

Accountable for:

Sustainable growth in income

Fundraising staff and volunteers

Three direct reports: Fundraising Manager: Institutions, Trusts & Foundations, Fundraising

Manager: Individual Giving, Fundraising Senior Coordinator: Data

Board reporting, as member of YCI Senior Management Team (SMT)

Personal responsibility for securing income from new and existing sources

Job Title: Fundraising Senior Coordinator – Institutions

Location: London

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £32,000-£35,500 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting

Job Purpose: To generate annual income targets from a range of UK and international institutions and smaller statutory bodies. To provide effective stewardship of institutions and smaller statutory bodies to build sustainable partnerships.

Accountable to: Fundraising Manager – Institutions, Trusts & Foundations

Accountable for: Volunteers or interns as required

Y Care International requires a dynamic, rigorous and articulate person with the determination to succeed in winning contractual funds. You must be able to communicate effectively, combining the ability to listen to others with mature understanding of our work and able to help shape strong, compelling and fundable programme design.

Programmes Finance Officer

Finance – Programmes Finance Officer
Location: London
Salary: £32,000-£35,500 per annum
Closing date for applications: 9am, Friday 16th August
Interviews to be held: week commencing 26th August

Working with a unique partnership network of YMCAs and other youth-focused organisations in the global South, Y Care International creates opportunities for young people to help themselves out of poverty through decent work. We are looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated person with excellent relationship and communication skills, to design, manage and support the delivery of high-quality programmes.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level; have experience in international development project management, including managing projects funded by donors such as Comic Relief, DFID and the European Commission; be fluent in written and spoken English.

The post holder will record, retrieve and analyse financial transactions of the organisation, including maintaining financial records, processing payments, preparing journals and cash handling; have good financial management skills; and work well within a team.
