Our International Citizen Service is making opportunities possible for young UK volunteers to work on a one-to-one basis with their peers in Bangladesh, Togo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Senegal. They work together in small teams over three months to tackle social exclusion and poverty in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Our young volunteers get intensive training and support to grow their skills and learn about the most pressing global development challenges. On return to the UK they share their experiences to other young people by leading their own social action project to inform others or lobby for policy changes.
