Securing healthy lives and sustainable livelihoods for 10,000 young people in Liberia

From 2014 to 2017, the Securing Healthy Lives and Sustainable Livelihoods Project was implemented in five locations – Gbarnga (Bong County), Zorzor (Lofa County), Ganta (Nimba County), Yekepa (Nimba County) and Zwedru (Grand Gedeh County) by the YMCA of Liberia in collaboration with partners and Y Care International.

The project was aimed at improving the lives of 10,000 vulnerable young people (women and men) aged 15-24 in the five targeted locations. The project provided vocational training; access to employment opportunities as well as information on improved SRH care services.
