From 2012 to 2015, the Act2Live Youth Health Initiative supported nearly 120,000 young people in Sub-Saharan Africa to improve their access to healthcare information and services. We worked with young people, service providers and decision makers to improve knowledge on health, increase access to health services and improve policy and practice around health.

From 2013 to 2016 Y Care International with the Myanmar YMCA and three local organisations supported vulnerable young people, including young people with disabilities, commercial sex workers and young people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) to get jobs, set up their own businesses and be more active in their communities.

Natural disasters can fill the headlines for a few weeks – but the impacts on people affected can last a lifetime. In 2010 Haiti was rocked by one of the worst earthquakes in modern times. In one of the poorest countries in the world, it exacerbated an already desperate situation.
Years later, there is still much rebuilding to be done. Today you can give a lifeline to young people who’ve lost jobs, homes and loved ones.
