Year in review

In this Annual Review, we report back on how our work this year has achieved our five organisational objectives:

• to strengthen Y Care International as a youth-centered international development agency
• to build the capacity of our partners to help disadvantaged young people
• to support our partners to involve young people in managing projects and developing organisations
  
• to enable young people in the UK & Ireland understand local and global issues
• to increase the number of young people in the UK & Ireland involved in advocacy and campaigning 

This year we have been able to expand programmes that help young people improve their living conditions, their health, their skills and employment prospects. We have helped young people struggling in situations of civil conflict, violence or natural disaster. And we have helped young people to become leaders, increasing their confidence and speaking up for their rights in their communities.
