In April 2007, a group of eight young people from Northern Ireland - from both Protestant and Catholic backgrounds - visited Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown.
The conflict in both countries has had a profound effect on young people. The visit helped both groups of young people gain an understanding of the conflict and peace processes in both countries by learning about each other's experiences. This video documents their journey from Belfast to Freetown.
